The Salt Penguin: a classic wooden salt grinder

The Salt Penguin is a wooden salt mill shaped like a penguin, designed by J.I. Christoffersen. A trained carpenter with a deep understanding of wood, he balanced function with beautiful form and clean lines. The Salt Penguin works just as well as an everyday kitchen tool as it does as a small sculpture on the dining table, windowsill or sideboard.

The Salt Penguin is made in FSC®-certified walnut and maple, with a ceramic CrushGrind® grinding mechanism. Each one is handmade and hand-assembled, so there may be small variations from piece to piece.
