Matilda: a wooden koala figurine with Danish design

Matilda, also called Koala Female, is a wooden koala figurine designed by Chresten Sommer. Australia is famous for its wildlife, and the koala, living a quiet life among the eucalyptus trees, is loved around the world for its cute looks and mild manner.

That makes it easy to invite a koala into your home as a piece of Danish design.

A koala for everyday and birthdays

Matilda is a sweet decoration for every day, and on birthdays or other special occasions she can hold the included small embroidered flag in her arms for a festive touch on the birthday table.

Her head, arms and ears move, so you can choose the pose you like. Pair her with Joey, the baby koala. Matilda is made in FSC®-certified oak and maple, with plastic parts.
